Hola! My name is Jessica Barron and I’m an aspiring Multimedia Journalist. I’m a first-generation graduate from the University of South Florida where I received my Bachelors’s degree in Mass Communications-Broadcast Television and my Masters degree in Media Studies. I couldn’t wait to be surrounded by news and after I graduated, I started working as a weekend radio reporter at iHeartMedia in Tampa, FL. When I’m not in the studio I like exploring new restaurants, going salsa dancing, and binge-watching the latest tv show. I care about fitness, especially weightlifting. My favorite ways to destress include yoga, meditation, and karaoke-although I may not have the voice, I have the spirit!
